Wat is reefkeeping nowdays in your own views

Reefkeeping is ~ to have a tank of corals so that you can everday stare at it

to know more reefers so can expand your circle of friends

to make own tank become the best so that can become

the top and put other's tank down(those who are lower level)

Each have its own way of keeping corals, might not be the best

but as long is throught own effort~~ that is real beauty

reefkeeping is a hobby, a passion ...

i learnt from it. study it and sleep with it ...

smooth my nerves, helps to relax and pass time

it become my house main attraction and i stand tall of it ..

i spent and spent til no money .

meet up with reefers, exchange pointers and expand network..

times passes by and soon it become habit..

just like taking drugs.. more u see it , u crave for more..

hmmmm...

shall i give up ?? or carry on ???

Many seek aimlessly for it yet no one knows what it is

It tentalizes our desire to find it yet no one has found it

To satisfy our love for life, most of us destroy it

Only the meek can succeed

We don't see flame in the water, do we??? Flame is afraid of Water but it seems like some flame can't be put out by water. Or was it because more wood and oil have been thrown into the flame????

Problaby I shouldn't be the one saying this as I'm not a saint

PS. The remark I make it not targetting at anyone or any reefer in specific.

Moving forward, I enjoy reefing more now compared to 1.5 yrs back. I suffered 2 almost tank crash and 1 total tank crash. Me and a couple of very nice reefers did 2 major re-scaping. The total tank crash coupled with the regular SRC de-com sales almost took me out of the hobby totally. Now that all things are more or less stable, my gobies are spawning (like nobody business); my shrimps are spawning too; my tunicates growing out of nowhere and everywhere in the under flow; my zoos are spreading; I complete my collection of colours in my tank and I know a alot of reefing; DIY; Frogfish; Spawning; bottomless pit; SPS; LPS and LS Species GURUS. Not forgetting some Chee Hong reefer. Looks like I going to join it further.

i find human a lot harder to understand ...

reef fishes so much easier to love and be loved ...

some LFSes also go out of their way to help me maintained my TOTM status ... so very nice ...
