hi,

anyone here installing those health water pipe for their tap water?some calling it water purifier,some calling it health water.The most popular brand is Diamond water.

Pls give me some feedback on this.Thanks

My late father used to drink water which was treated by this diamond water purifier. After drinking he keeps on coughing and coughing. And was told to boil the water first before consuming.

One of my friend did a test with Diamond water 1 year ago after his wife brought home the Diamond unit for testing

You know Diamond water always use goldfishes to promote their product?

What my friend did was:

Bought 6 goldfish

Place 3 each in a similiar identical 2ft tank with the same filter and aeration

Tank A uses only Diamond water without any anti-chorine

Tank B uses Tap water with Hagen Nutrifin

3 weeks later, Tank B 0 casualty, Tank A 0 survival.

But the above is just his independant experiment. It does not conclusively prove that Diamond water is bad, just that I will not use it for my tank.

GOSH! I certainly dont want to be ending up like those in tank A.

I noticed alot of people has been installing this kind of purifying thing or whatever you call it...my sis uses another brand but almost as costly as DIAMOND brand.Claimed that drinking that water wouldnt fall sick...wouldnt cough...wouldnt get sorethroat but I seen her kids always going to doc...

Previously we use distilled water on a water dispenser but it gets expensive so was thinking to install this kind of purifying thing but it really doesnt sounded like its anything special.

I been using it for > 6 months, never boil the water.

Shit, hope no big thing come. Think gonna warn my family liao.

And I use the water for top off too. No big problem....yet.

the distilled water company would deliver the water every weekly or monthly as your demand is.I think its $14 per 19L +GST something like this.Normal family of 5 will consume about 12 bottles a months so thats about $200 a month just for water.The dispenser can be purchased or via rental.Not sure about the price.Our dispenser just stand there being useless since we purchased it instead of renting it.
