Hi guys,

Just got my seahare today.. and i must say it's quite sluggish, looks almost like it's sleeping..

it roamed once around the tank, then settled next to some zoos and stopped there...

I thought it was dead/dying, then when I was scrapping algae it "woke up", went for a short walk (crawl?), then went back to it's original position and it's been lying there ever since...

What u guys think?

Ervine

My seahare always like that one... If it feels like moving, it will move... But it spent most of its time sleeping at the corner of the tank...And they have particular place that it will go back to...

ah.. interesting.. but does it roam all around your tank or just stay in one spot?

I've heard of sea cucumbers (those filter feeding type) that actually stay at the exact same spot for years just because of its abundant supply of food!!!

Talk about endurance!!! :lol::lol:

i guess they don't believe that the grass (or algae?) is greener on the other side of the fence? hehe...

have you seen it munch on hair algae? mine looks like it's only after green spot on the glass...

my mistake.. just saw it chomp down on a patch of hair algae.. woohoos.. a natural enemy (other than me and my toothbrush) to the algae that's been plaguing my tank..

Had a major outbreak of hair algae in my 4 ft tank.

Caught (Marsiling Jetty) and bought a seahare ( Marine Life) ... after 2 weeks ... 90 percent gone.

Good guys in keeping hair algae away.

Cheers

Kojek

yup i noticed the effects already... some rocks stripped bare of the horrible algae.. but I realised it doesn't attack the larger clumps... only the still baby clumps...
