Cow/boxfish And Others

i love my box...so cute n dumb looking. initially it got bullied by my 2 damsels by pushing it with their tails . the scene is cute cos the box just 'float away' n carried on with his life as thou not affecting it much. after 2-3 days they accept him as a member n i nv c them disturbing it animore.( maybe he had gone tru the 'ring of fire'). lastly my box did not disturb ani of my corals, except pecking on rocks n blowing the sand for food.

DUN try putting the two different types of dragonets!!! It is disastrous!!! The dotted ones are usually fiercer than the other type. 

Decide on one type only and if you want two, must al least get a pair. Remember the pair has a longer thread on his dorsal fin.

I meant, if you really wan to get two, get a paired set and the male is the one a longer thread on his dorsal...Sorry...wasn't thinking straight...

Feel so much better now.. I think i will try to keep it, since most of everyone's comments are contradicting. I will keep it and get my own experience. Hope the fishies in my combo will get along with each other.

You might want to consider carefully about the dottybacks...

My dottyback was a monster that ate cleaner shrimp eyes...and killed any docile fish...

You might want to consider adding it last...or go for the orchid dottyback..one of the most docile dottybacks.

my strawberry dotty post no problem to me, or am i so lucky? i have read up on dotty n knew it was territorial. so i onli brought a small dotty. it did not peck off my cleaner shrimp maybe b cos ...my shrimp is even longer the nthe dotty? n all other fish in my tank is bigger then the dotty xcept for my box which is shorter

krkrkr.. i still luv dem boxfishes even after they wiped out my tank..

still hoping to get a full tank of them.. but muz wait for my dottyback to up bus..

dottybacks are marine bettas.. mine singlehanded destroyed 8 firegobies that i intro into the tank.. heart still pain now.. haha..

dat's my personal experience oni.. may not apply to other dottybacks..
