My First 2ft Tank

Hi Everyone,

This is my first 2ft x 1ft x 1.5ft tank. I started it on 1st July. Here's the details:

Water parameters:

Ammonia: 0

Nitrite: 0.01ppm

Nitrate: <25ppm

kH: 10dKh

ph: 8.0

Salinity: 1.023

Temperature: 28 deg C

Lighting: 1 x 10000K Zoo Med Marine White (T8)

1 X Arcadia Actinic Blue (T8)

Photoperiod: 4pm - 12am (8hrs)

Filtraion: Internal Overflow with Chemipure & bioballs.

Cooling: 2 x 3.5" cooling fan

Skimmer: Maxi-Skim 200

Fish:

1) Tomato Clown x 01

2) Yellowtail blue damel x 01

3) Banggao Cardinal x 01

4) Bicolor blenny x 01

5) False percula clown x 01

Invert:

1) Cleaner shrimp x 02

2) Feather Duster x 02

Coral:

1) Blue Mushroom

2) Goniopora

3) Yellow poly

4) Hairy Mushroom

Feeding:

Morning: Hikari Marine S

Night: Mysis Shrimp

DT's Live Phytoplankton every other day

Additive:

Salifert All-in-One once a week.

Hi!

With just T8s would recommend you stick with softies and mushrooms. Anything else would not really be possible. BTW nice LRs. Not possible to put the maxiskim into the overflow box? That way you have less clutter in your main display- keep the hardware in the overflow.

Good way to start :)
