Advice on sump tanks

yo guys need your advice here.

i currently have a normal 3x1.5x1.5 FT tank running on a Jebao cannister

and weipro 2011 skimmer.

i thinking of changing it to sump tank, what are the options i have??

i dont have a overflow. thinking of just getting the sump tank but im not sure

how the sump shld be installed, like how to pump water from main tank to sumo and back. and where can i get the sump and pipings?

I'm usind a diy overflow piping to siphon water into my sump and then i use a 2200l/hr pump for my return.

My tank is a 2 by 1.5 by 1.5.

where did u get the DIY pipes and sump?? cost??

how did you connect the pipes??

My Pipes and sump were diy'ed and passed to me by a friend.

I have since made one diy piping for a friend and it's working fine.parts u can get from any shop that sells water piping.Can either use the white ones or grey coloured ones.

As for your sump tanks .Some lfs do sell ready made ones or u can custom make one as well. I suggest posting on the buy/sell pasar malam forum as I got a sump for my friend through that forum.

Bro i'm now at work so cannot get the specs. Will most prob get a pic of setup for u and post it.

But here's another alternative. using a overflow box. refer to links. But i'm not too sure abt where to get it and the exact cost of one.
