I've seen some of my acros have these elongated polyps too but I had always thought they were trying to be territorial.

Anyway, how's the oyster eggs doing for you? B)

Hmmm..can always strip the oyster or mussel yourself for the eggs. Will save you alot of $. Mussels are cheaper alternative. Those with orange tissue are the ones that contain eggs. Those with white tissue are...haha...I don't need to elaborate. For oysters both males and females have white gonads. You can release the eggs/sperm by slicing the gonad contents into a beaker. You can tell which are eggs just by the ###### eye. :peace:
