Frag and Wild colony what's Diff?

If all the water parameters and requirements for SPS are in place. then Frags or aquacultured colonies are definately 'easier' than wild. Most ppl find that wild colonies do not keep their colors well and are more suspectable to diseases etc etc.

Best if you can start off with aquacultured colonies or frags of montiporas/staghorns.

Frags or small colonies have the advantage as they grow according to parameters like water flow, lighting, etc in the beginning. Larger colonies are more susceptible to stn especially if the branches are very close to one another and the conditions in your tank can't match the conditions they grow to in the wild.

Always something more important than fish.
