there is an article in today's straits time about the petition to ban huskies,malamutes and samoyed in Singapore due to the hot weather.I personally dont think it has anything to do with the weather.Its the good ownership that is matter.

Yes i saw that article. Its totally ridiculous.

Its all about good ownership and not about the huskies/malamutes unable to adapt to our environment.

Certain dogs/pets owners are very extreme, there's a limit but banning the dogs is plain stupid.

Its not just huskies/malamutes that have issues with our environment. Try running a dog non-stop for 3 hours and see if it will die of heat stroke.

I own a rough hair collie but for dogs like that,the owner should know we should keep them cool instead of bringing them out in the sun for long hour.Not to say dogs,we human also will die of heatstroke if left in the sun for long time.

There are many rules of AVA which I cant comply.Just feel its ridiculous.

Actually i often bring nikki out for long hours and for runs. Just make sure the dog is allowed to run at its own pace and not forced to run.

AVA has got many rules and regulations.

There one stupid rule. If you're walking your dog in public, they must be leashed. Imagine nikki leashed to your MTB while you cycle, I wonder who will be leading?????
