bad experience - home renovation!!!

especially when you are living in the flat.Meaning every morning wake up seeing the same blood vomitting scene....

anyway,anyone can advice me on the windows? when we changed all windows.I mentioned to the contractor he better follow the rules that to use the aluminium rivets but he insisted that he got the approval letters from HDB.And he claims that windows not older than 5 yrs dont need to change to aluminium rivets.How true is that?I dont want to later kena fine for that.We only living here less than a yr

windows aluminium rivets.......anyone?advice?

Yes, existing windows not older than 5 yrs dun need 2 change to stainless steel rivets now. In ur case you r fixing new windows, so the contractor shd use stainless steel rivets and not aluminium rivets. Otherwise, if they use aluminium rivets now, 5 years later you will still have to change them to stainless steel rivets.

Therefore, insist on stainless steel rivets, nothing else.
