What Wavemaker to use?

Hi All,

Need some advice on whether i need a wavemaker.

I using a 3Ft x 1.5FT x 1.5FT FOWLR setup running on a Jebao Cannister

and a Weipro 2011 skimmer. Bare bottom tank with LR.

need advice on whether i need to install a wavemaker??

fowlr the more u need to have strong current & good water circulation IMO. If u keep tangs,they will love it

some popular ones are tunze & seio,u can also use powerheads like what I'm using

i use a sawn off maxijet that I had lying around.... then plug it into a timer..

what the sawing off does is that it gives a 50/50 chance of the water spraying in either 2 directions...

from what a LFS told me, wave makers produce water in spiral pattern but

a powerhead spray water straight out which is not so good for the LS.

dont think that's good setup.

We setup water circulation best in "random" direction, spiral obviously is in 1 way.

hmm... very blur about this wavemaker thingy..

any cheap and good ones to recommend?? or 2nd ones??
