be careful some fish cant take it and it will leave them to die

generally i find freshwater dip ineffective against ich and will further stress the fish which will cause it to up the lorry faster.

even it help, but the Ich parasite baby are hidden in your tank.

When times come, they strike again. So you go the freshwater dip, again and again.

used to do it. have a pail for decorinated water and adjust the PH & temp to the level same at your tank. For me normally this means perparing the morning in advance, 1st turn up the chiller to about 28 degress so that the difference between the tank water and the room temperature is not big. Then bubble the freshwater.....then while acceilmating the new buy, adjust the PH of the freshwater using baking soda or vinger....

After accemilation, throw the fish in for 15~20mins before moving to main tank....please note that not all fish are suitable...for example mandarin or fishes that cannot be normally hypo.....

anyway, i have given up this method because it doesn't really remove ich from the fish.....but it does cut down on the risk a fair bit....
