Also brought this Carbon

Placed the carbon in a stocking and put it in my sump

notice that there's cotton below..its to prevent/reduce the air bubbles coming out of the skimmer to go into the 2nd compartment of the sump

No harm at all

Its a filter feeder and quite an interesting creature

You can see the siphons open and close when you shine a torchlight at it
