False Percula

The front false percula in e pic dun look like e other in e rear. It has black outlines ard the white patches where as e other doesn't. It oso has light black patches over e top of its body... and always bully e other nemo

I bought these 2 nemos @$1, izit a different breed of false perculas?

haha.. bro diablos, the more intense colored nemo is from bali, the other is from batam.

usually LFS sell bali clowns for $3.. but i guess you got yourself a good deal.

Seems like very difficult to differentiate between True & False Percula Clownfish.

I've ask the similar question before: Here

Do you agree with the below statements?

True Percula Clownfish (the clear one in the pic):

- often has black edged borders of varied widths around its white bars

- usually has a lower height dorsal fin

False Percula Clownfish (the blur one in the pic):

- never has the black edged borders around its white bars

- usually has a higher height dorsal fin

true or false, they both look nice and cheap too

anyway, read somewhere that a way to differentiate a true perc and false perc is the shape of the middle white band;

true percu = white band shaped like a bikini bottom

false perc = white band shaped more like "ah ma" panty
