Tropic marine salt gd?

Is tropic marine salt gd enough to be used? Cos it seem my tank inhabitants not doing well since i using this salt... dnt know could be other parameters in the tank go wrong.. or juz the salt. ANy brothers have any comments on this salt. Would appreciate any feedback. Btw i am using the normal tropic marine salt not the pro-reef type.

I have been using Tropic Marine ( Both Type ) and decided to switch to Coralife.

It is the pricing. Too X.

So far Both salt are OK and all stock are doing GREAT.

There are many reasons why inhabitants are not doing well.

1) water parameters e.g phosphate, nitrate, ph and sg.

2) lighting. Certain invertibrates requires stong light .

3) temperature. preferably a chiller.

4) skimmer

5) do a 10-20% water change monthly

and lastly and most important is dedication and time to keep this expensive and captivating hobby.

A friend is using it and i'm really amazed by the fact that once you mix the salt in water with a powerhead, it clears in abt 15 mins

that's very true, previously used the non-pro one, took almost overnight to dissolve but this pro version is almost immed. but again, it is more expensive ...

ive used both coralife & tropic marine

i stored & prepared both saltmixes under the same conditions

coralife seems to cakeup more easily than TM , and TM dissolves alot easier/quicker
