Went to Carol Farm today and saw a few tangs for the first time. Did my research and just found out they were the Chevron Tang (orange colour), Kole Yellow Eye Tang and Sailfin Tang. Bought the Sailfin Tang in the end. Anyone is keeping or kept this before? Pic is below (other pics available at www.liveaquaria.com:

You need to horn or call them at 63322928 when you are at the gate. That's what I need when I was ther about 1 pm +-. I get a feeling they may somehow want to start control access to the place. First time they asked me if I have been there (assuming that they will not let me in if it was my first time).

Hi Norvin,

I'm currently with a Sailfin Tang...

Bought it simply becos my tank had develope some strands of green Algae..

Currently, the Tang's doing very well.... stomach's all round through his constant grazing of the algae.... My tank's now clean!!!!!

BTW, How's Coralfarm retailing the CHervon Tang... are they juveniles and their size....

I like their colour very much... keen on getting one for my mains when its set up.......

Went down today and bought the Kole Tang, just could not fight the temptation!!! I spoke to the young guy (haven't got his name) and he told me that he bought in only one Chevron to test if he can get it to eat pellets. If he is successful he will bring in larger quantities in future. So I guess that one is not for sale for now.

Maybe it's my chevron or that it is too young. It just won't eat. Tried frozen daphnia to live BBS to flakes and pellets.

I couldnt resist and bought the last Chevron. They brought in 4 altogether. I have several tangs and have placed the Chevron inside a enclosed fish cage at the moment. So far it is just swimming around and nibbling at the plastic. Will feed it tonite and see what happens. Keeping my fingers crossed.
