the lower picture in the webpage shows similar colours, but maybe not. boy are slugs hard to ID. maybe you could post a clearer pic in full light and with the slug's gill's extended?

Ian, this guy is very secretive, in fact those are the best shots I could obtain and it only comes out at night. Thought someone could shed some light on it. I guess it was not harmful.

hi bro weileong, if its not harmful, then it must be doing the system some good ya, like maybe consuming detritus and algae. hopefully someone positively ID's it so we can all learn more about it.
