ph drop after use of rowaphos.

my ph drop from 8.1 to 7.9 after i run 1 litres of rowaphos in resun fr less than an hour.

is this normal?

and also the inlet seems to leak water , have to take out the whole thing to seal with silicone. will try again tomorrow.

that is caused by drop in kH. There's some discussion of this in RC quite sometime ago.

so what should i do,

add reef builder for raising kh or reef buffer for ph and kh up

or change partial water or do nothing and wait for ph and kh to raise again?

meanwhile should i disconnect the rowa or keep it running.

my calcium always high above 500ppm, i never dose calcium, will this affect the

ph/kh?

Yes keep the rowa running.

I would dose kH slowly to restore the kH back to your former levels.
