Beckett extension

I am thinking extending the 32 inch Beckett by adding a 12 inch extension kit.

Now, I observe that many beckett had a downtube that raise the beckett nozel always higher or same with the reaction chamber.

If i am not wrong the downtube primary purpose is to help prevent back pressure.

So will i need to heighten the downtube after adding the extension?

I am using a 8500l/hr pressure rated pump.

i know chipson's beckett extensions come with the extra tube for raising the nozzel

I saw it in the supplier place too. there is a downtube extension that comes with it. The problem is mine would probably need some plumbing to it. So I wonder if I can skip on that.

he offered me when i wanted to extend my beckett and let me just say that his service is commendable

being very patient even though last min i decided not to upgrade my beckett

I have already confirm the deal with my supplier. but I 'll take note of this. Thanks.

I'll see wat I can do. Otherwise will post pic for advice.
