SRC Member LaW Posted August 17, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted August 17, 2005 this is a sad sad story of my black poodle, Branda AKA Girl-Girl. being with me for over 9 years, since she was just 3 months old. been thru up and down with her. one fine day on the 11/11/2002 at ard 11 pm. she was found dead lying outside my gate. due to her old age and the ongoing of menses, we got no choice but to lock her outside. shes a smart dog that will unleash herself and walk ard the neighbourhood on her own peeing and pooing. and will come back on her home when shes done. on that day morning and afternoon, she still took a walk on her own, as usual. but when ard 11pm, my neighbour rang the my door bell and said my dog is lying dead on the ground. so sad. cried for 2 days. the only regret i have is didnt get to dote on her much because i always lock myself in my room. buried her at my backyard the next day. resting there. miss those days when she comes to my room to wake me up by licking me. Mysterious death though. heard from my neighbour that when dog going to die, they will not die at their "home" but some where near so as to not to upset us. *sad* *wet* eyes. all i got to make a note here is that i remember her forever. to the rest, dote on ur pets as much as possible, spent as much time as possible with them. so that u wont regret that u didnt do your best throwing love at them when they are truely gone forever. last note: i love Her, Ah Girl-Girl, so, till now. *muack* hope shes doing better in whatever place she is now. SRC Member Jaslyn Posted August 18, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted August 18, 2005 yes, when dog is going to die, they wouldnt die in front of your eyes but they wioll go somewhere else. That happened to my maltese 6 yrs ago.It was near to xmas day and she was suffering from kidney failure. It was just that morning we were going to put her down at the vet.The test result actually showed that she was getting better but the whole day,she was trying so hard to get behind the book shelf ...I had a feeling that she was going to find a place to die. Then we left the house shopping for furniture...for the whole day I refused to go home cos I had the fear that I m going to see her died...but in the late night,I have no choice but to go home and sure enough, she died under the xmas tree.I cried for over a week and my mom was calling me crazy. Even until now,her ashes is still on the top of the shelf and I still remember her in my heart.Last yr,we bought a maltese pup and she behaves exactly like the one who died.... Hello Law , feel sad for yr lost dog. Felt sad too when my guinea pig which was with me for 1yr + died ... Yes according to my grandma , a dog she used to keep before passing away , will go some distance away from home to pass away ... maybe it wants to give its owners the impression that it is lost but at least still alive? so as not to upset their owners as much . So thoughtful of animals towards human.
SRC Member loster Posted August 18, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted August 18, 2005 my cat, my lovely cat passway since may 2005. we kept our friendship for 18 years. my family adopted him when he was just a playful kitten. he too died of kidney failure. the only regret is that i didn't stay by his side when i knew he is going to die. but i did speak to him and assured him that i still love him very much and we are still a very good buddy half an hour before he pass ed away. he was very sick to do his business and eat on his own. so, almost more than a month, my family members took turn to look after him and clean him. my sister even took leave to stay by his side and spent sometime with him. we treated him as part of our family member. 18 year of friendship... i miss him alot... SRC Member fishtalk1517 Posted August 19, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted August 19, 2005 hi this is my chinchilla. Died in 2003. During that time, Singapore got the highest temperature at 35 degree Both my chins were already adapted to the normal temp but this time due to the ultimate hot weather, the chin was not himself. realised that something is amiss, I quickly send the chin to a vet and was hospitalised. According to the vet, it ganna heat stroke and the chin was placed directly under the aircon for the night to see if theres improvement. The next morning when we were on the way to see the chin, hoping that there's improvement. But instead got a heart breaking news that the chin had died . My wife was terribily upset that she cried n cried. Even to the extend that she got no appetite. I was really really down for a few days. Had both the chins for 2yrs. Their new born baby was only a month old when it died. Quote A person, himself can be his own Lawyer, but he can never be his own Judge ........
