reali need urgent advice..... cycling my tank with 5 chromis.... on PL lights abt 8hrs a day... with blue lights abt 10hrs...

seems like gonna have a outbreak of brown alage soon... how to get rid?????

add hermit?? sdnails?? blennies?? or all??????

Argh,,, cant afford the LR to be covered with algae.....

best thing is to get some snails

then reduce your time of your lighting to maybe even 4hours u dont even really need lighting for the cycle

blue light u can keep on if u want cause that will help allow your coralline aglae to grow

juz added 4 turbo snails..... but the brown algae and looks abit hairy seems to be growing pretty fast... any more solutions to get rid of them.... urgent..

and put blanket over it or something make it dark for 2 days all aglae die for sure

make sure u have a strong skimmer to remove all the day algae but if not let snails do their job they quite fast mah make sure u get the big ones like turbos or trochus

currently,, white light no longer on,,, onli on the blue light for abt 6hrs, cos later chromis stress to death,,, how come everyday so dark.....

3 snails working,,, (one KIA already... dunno wats wrong,,, maybe at the shop already dying)

just change my rowa in the FR.

hopefully everything will run fine....
