Which Power Head.....

Hi

I have a 3 ft tank and would like to change the power head in my tank.

Any recommendation on the brand of power head and the capacity of the power head. I would like to have a low power consumption power head. Current power head taking to much power (100 watts) but only delivers 2880 litres/hr. My current power head is not strong enough because there seems to be a lot of tiny dust/dirt floating in the aquarium.

Pardon me, did you say power head? Never come across power head that draws 100watts.

Anyway, if you are trying to improve the circulation of the water in your tank. You might want to try wave maker instead. Example of wave maker brand are Seio and Tunze, the later is more effection in current consumption and channelling of the water in your tank but more costly than Seio.

Belif u r using those china made pump.

You should use Europe brand, cost more but

very quiet and strong.

I am using the brand Haila. I have heard about SEIO. How is this brand SEIO ? Is it too strong to use 6000 litres/hr for a 3ft tank or should I use 4000 litres/hr

you can get Dymax(Not taiwan brand, made in italy)

good and cheap
