Just wanna check with brothers whether a pH meter or pen is necessary, to ensure the FOWLR Tk runs well ?? Never got one b4, only check on and off, my tank pH, with my friend help.

N which brand of pH pen/meter is gd?? Due to cost constraints.. thought of getting a pH pen which is below $100.

N i read that tropic marine salt mixes to a high pH, is that true?? any opinions to share??

Thanks :thanks::thanks::bow:

IMO pH pens and meters are not necessary unless you are using a pH probe on a CR. pH tends to vary with different levels in the tank so it's quite meaningless to measure it accurately ;)

But if you tame me, we shall need each other.

If you can spare the $$$, go for it.

It can become very convenient espeically when you acclimating new fish.

Without it, you have to resolve to test the water pH with those checimal stuffs, very tedious.

No more color guessing and counting droplet.

I'm using a Milwakee (someting like that) brand, should be around SGD 100.
