Skimmer For 3FT FOWLR

Hi all, i just started a 3 FT FOWLR tank. i think the exsiting skimmer i used for my 2FT tank isnt enough. i use a canister filter for my setup and hope all bros can suggest which skimmer shld i use. thx in advance

Macro Or Beckett Should Serve You Well

Go for a macro needlewheel if you are on a budget

Go for a beckett if you want to see rich thick gunky skimmate oozing out of your skimmer

Perhaps you wan to tell us your highest budget. Also, I understand that you are using a canister filter so i assume there are no sump tank to start with. So only a HOB can do.

Tell us all this first.

Otherwise, ppl are going all the way to suggest til they reach a bubble king.

yup, i using a canister, my tank dont have overflow and sump.

i looking at Weipro skimmers cause they're much cheaper, my

budget is anything below $100 include pump.

any suggestions??

if budget ard 100,, then keep those fishes tht dunt need to eat so much type.. like dwaft fishes,, if die die like to keep tangs,, keep 1 or 2 enough liao cause tangs r hungry eating ghostss.. try not to keep as many fishes as possible... slowly save $$$ upgrade a better skimer then keep more fishes...

weipro is a good start. you may have to squeeze out slightly a bit more money to include a pump for it, but that could also set you near a Macro pricing. Both are almost the same.

Ok thanks chucky and hotlemond, i saw a weipro 2001 that

cost abt $38, havent bargain yet.... the LFS says can user for 3/4 FT tank.

Get a good and reputable pump as well.....
