Just some experience sharing. I got 2 of those trochu snails too. Eventhough it may be slow moving around, but it can be quite hard on the rock too, like giving the liferock a very hard pinch till you see some dust flowing out of the rock.

Sometimes my coral that is place steadily on top can still drop down to the sandbed. Must be these snail that is causing it.
