tube worm

hi all,

I got this white-feathered tube worm for abt 1 mth.

It opens up very nicely but i did a water change last sun and it did not open since then.

the nearest was i see the feathers near the opening.

can someone tell me y??

yes gv it some time lah... usually after water chg, ph n salinity chg so its just a bit sensitive.... even if crown drop off oso no woris lah... shd grow back soon..

Worse come to e worse,it might have discard e tube n crawl to some of ur LR to hide....

I got one bali tube worm tat did tat.It discarded its tube n crawl to a hole in e LR n grow fm tat.Its now part of e LR liao....keke

read some where the reason why tube worm drop their crown,

is because it is straving. And in order to reduce the among

of food intake that is require to support itself, 1 way is to drop and

grow a smaller crown. in a way, droping crown is a sign that the feather

is straving lar
