Aquapharm Cure Ich

Does any one out there have any success stories (or horror stories) about Aquapahrm Pro Series Cure Ich?

I have a 5ft reef tank and a purple tang looks like he might be getting ich. I know the best idea is to get the tang out and put him in a freshwater bath, BUT......

1) This does not treat the rest of the tank, and

2) ever tried catching a tang in a 5th reef tank fully stocked with live rock and corals - it's virtually impossible.

I am dosing the tank with the above product. Anyone have any better ideas?

Thanks

I use it to cure ich on my clown fish. But did that in a quarantine tank rather than dose into main tank. Afraid that the corals will get affected. Took only 2-3 days and my clown fish is all bubbly again.....

better not dose into your main tank. Try do setup a 'trap' to corner your tang to swim into the netting rather than chase it in your 5ft tank.. .too difficult....

Thanks for your comments guys.

After 3 days of dosing the entire tank, all corals are doing well. Took the clams out and put into a separate tank, as recommended by instructions on the bottle. Our Elegant coral, closed right up during the first dose, but is now fully open again.

Still some ich, so will see it thru for the full 10 days.

Anyone else with thoughts on this age-old ich problem?
