is the above metion fish hard to keep , cause try 3 of them and they just disappear althought my first 1 last me quite long weird

gerald, i think this fish is hardy. i have mine for more than a year now. still a big boss in my tank. becasue of him, i find it difficult to add any fish that look like the dottyback shape.

Yes, it's supposed to be very hardy.... and agressive. In fact, mine helps rid my tank of small crabs and worms. They love prawns too and other creatures that hide in live rocks. Lobster is right. They cannot be kept with any other fish that looks like dottyback shape.

I am not too sure why yours disappeared. Could it be because they could not find enough "fresh food" in your tank, or if you had put a few together they were involved in deadly duels - killing each other?
