i think at some o f e beaches shd have...dn't think is reef safe.....unless got lots of food to feed him, if not ur live stock got problem liao....

yeah man maxstar81 we hv similar int... i m also an avid beach comber... saw quite a number of these crabs as well at east coast n pasir ris

Good to know i'm not the only 1.

Anyway i'm too busy nowadays to go to the beach

even if its just 5 min from my door....

Work work sch sch .... :pinch:

Those from beach are very hardy....

But .... stuff collected at beach not as colourful as

those from shop.

Whatever collecting from the beach, which usually not gonna do good in our aquarium. As they are intertide species, mean they live in water and also off water, so they want wet and dry too, unless you can setup an environment like that.

well so far my snials-cerith, turbos etc , sml crabs, hermits big n sml, beautiful green carpet anemones, purple & blue sponges all doing pretty well.... Contrary to popular beliefs,i find that inverts esp anemones n spongesthat are collected frm beach hv higher survival rate than those bgt frm lfs... probably becos less traumatic due to shorter travelling distance.
