Quieter Pump than Rio 26HF

its for a beckett skimmer, roaring loudly... sound is terrible especially at night...

The sound from the rio is caused by the back pressure from the beckett injector.

Use a MD55, at least no more rattling noise.

sorry. . i forgot its used to drive beckett.

the most common pumps in the market for beckett are basically Resun md40/55 and Rio series pumps. Mine is powered by a md55, very satisfied with the performance.

btw there's Aquabee5000 and Aquabee6000/7000 in the market now. But price comparable to OR.

thanks all bros with their comments.. decided to stick to the rio 26hf as the skimmer is skimming well... don't want to disrupt that with a change in pump...

clean water is still more important than noise... just tahan abit can liao...

wait till the rio 26hf die first then think of something else...
