Coco worm not coming out

Hi guys,

I have a red coco worm which has been in my tank for abt 2mths, I feed it twice a week with phytoplankton.

However, it has not extended for the past few days, I see can the feathers in the tube but it just refuses to come out.

What could be the problem?

have you done any relocation or have aquire any new fishes recently?

Nope, I did not shift the coco worm, it has been at the same location since day 1. No new fishes either, only have a small PBT and a clarkii clown.

The crown has grown back and its redder than before.

Could be too strong current that it refuse to come out.A simple experiment is to off your pumps for a while and you will see it coming out.Suggestion is to relocate the coco worm to lower flow area
