Both was opened quite beautiful at the LFS. when I reach home, I found both pieces were "vomiting" those sticky yucky stuff.. are they stressed up? anyway to prevent such things or some tips to transport this type of corals? anyway, this morning, I had to throw one away. gone up lorry liao.. quite disappointed. the other one is still struggling to open... SRC Member barnacle Posted August 6, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted August 6, 2005 hammer is quite hardy. hows u'r water parameter?? sometimes it take time for it to open up. maybe can share how u introduce it to your tank. tips for transport coral...never leave it in side your car with air con off, bonnet or m/bike box....water must maintain at least 29 C any pic?? SRC Member barnacle Posted August 6, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted August 6, 2005 looks fine to me...except the left side... looks like some tissue at the side gone.. it will recover.. when buying hammer, look out for it clear tissue at side, healthy one u can see its tissue clearly.... covering its skeleton under neath.
