hey i dun understand why after the cycling process you need to do water change...

i tot once the goody bacteria established liao then alright liao ma.. but if do water change then the goody bacteria will be removed wat.. isn't it so? can enlighten me...

i read it over at saltaquarium website...

Water changes are done for 2 reasons

1) To remove the nitrates that have accumulated over the cycling process.

2) To replenish any trace elements that might have been depleted during cycling.

Always something more important than fish.

oh.. :huh: ok.. thks for the info :bow::lol:

another thing to note, just change water as per normal.

remember to wash your filter elements n biorings/balls

with tank water only. else you will kill the beneficial bacteria

(if use tap water, means back to square1)
