tang wif bloated stomach

hi

i recently got a powder black tang wif PR farm

now in my qt. tank

but dis morn i woke up only to realise that it has a

bloated stomach and cant even remain upright

its havin hypo treatment in the tank

it was fine yest and feedin on pellet food n frzn brine shrimps

any bro here have any info on this bloatedness and any cure ???

Possibly some form of internal bacterial infection of your fish's organs. Could it be dropsy?

Can anyone advise if cyanide caught fish will cause this kind of sickness, whereby fish is eating well but still up lorry after few days..

I am very piss with ppl fish with cyanide and shop import from this irresponsible source.

Think cyanide caught fishes die because of cyanide posioning.

On the other hand, dropsy is caused by the bacterial septicaemia which cause the blood vessels of the fish to be inflammed. When this bacteria enter the fish's circulatory system, they travel throughout the fish's body very quickly, causing damage to body tissue, blood vessel, and the heart. This often results in internal bleeding, causing the fish to bloat. Usually will happen when the water is dirty/polluted.

the swimming bladder is destroyed.. will not say due to cyn poisoning as u bought it from a reputable fish shop so no comment on this, maybe u can try asking them for advise
