Issit always true that butterfly fishes and anglefish cannot be kept in a reef environment... ???

they tend to nibble corals????

beautiful fishes...very pity if cant keep em... :yeah:

Hey most butterflies cannot be kept in a reef tank as they tend to nip and attack corals................ But some long nose species like the yellow long nose butterfly and the copperband are quite safe with corals and many people keep them safely in their reef tank...........

then IMo angel are not fully not reef safe ina tank, i believe they are more of 50/ 50.......... As some angels that soem aquarist got tend to creat havoc in a reef tank, attacking and nipping every corals they see but some angel just leave every other corals alone and this applies even to angel of the same species............. Therefore i say is 50/ 50 IMO angel that are more reef safe than other are- flame angel, coral beauty angel, flameback angel and not so reeef safe are queen angel, king angel, french angel...... Bugt even so i amange to keep a rock beauty and a king angel in my uncle reef tank..........

copperband is reefsafe??????

true or not?

1 for $3 only leh....cheap and chio...hehehe

but dunno can last or not leh.... wat if they don't eat...sigh...

Try the long nose yellow butterfly...I have kept those before..they seem to be more appreciative of food.

The last time I kept them when I was only 15 yrs old...they would eat brine shrimp and amazingly...bloodworms!

Always something more important than fish.
