SRC Member seamonkee Posted September 13, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted September 13, 2003 I think Terryz must have touch his anemone by "accident" and realise it's really sticky... In fact, that's one way of telling if an anemone is healthy or not... the more sticky it is, the healthier it is... Whether it stings the fishes or not... I not sure cause I have never had that sort of problem before... Fishes are clever too, u knoe...

SRC Member maxifire Posted September 13, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted September 13, 2003 One lesson which I've learnt is never introduce cleaner shrimps together with anemonies. It stung 2 of my cleaner shrimps and both died of instant death. BUT.. I've seen some LFS out there who actually have cleaner shrimps and anemonies inside their tank and everything seems to be alright.

FuEl
Don't look like carpet anemone to me...carpets have shorter tentacles... This one looks more like a shrunken bubble tip. FuEl
Bubble tip....its not carpet. Carpet anemones the tentacles very short and dense one...you put your hand in it...you can lift your hand out of the water and the anemone will still be stuck to your hand. That's a carpet.
