i been to these places and i can say they have much more healthy and able pple begging.

singapore was once free of these or almost. thats why Uncle Lee dare to say that. i believe that statement was made sometime ago. but now, due to the economy, more and more beggars can be seen on the street.

so dun deceived easily by what people post on the net.

we are still on our way to a fully developed country as our country is still young. and 1st world class country doesnt mean no beggars or homeless pple too.

The fact is that lower income group citizens are earning lesser money, and jobs are more difficult to find. If the Govt can't improve the situation in the next decade, we'll see more homeless ppl.

with lesser income (although u work like mad with long hours and u will still get the peanut pay), pay cut, no job... and our our living standard is higher

our electrical bill up

more will come

actually i find the stats misleading leh (or maybe i dont understand it). if a family got 8 people working. Each earn $2000 a month, does it mean that family ranked top 10 earner of singapore?

13 years ago, 10 big size eggs cost 1$ now 3$+, so mean 300% up. Are our salary up 300% Yes mime was but now..........
