Starting SPS colony

Hi guys

I have been running my 4x2x2 half tank since last december and have decided to start a colony but do not know on what to start with. Is not the buying part i am worried is the dyin g part it hurts...feel like a murderer if it happens.

So need yr advise what type to get first ..small ones so can seee it growing...hopefully. Any bros in woodlands area can spare small frags (willing to buy)

Ammo Nit and Nitrate undetechable.

Well, I guess you could start with some monti cap or digitata frags first.

They are quite indestructable IMO

But that doesn't mean that you do not take good care of them

Whats your Mg levels? Kh at 8 and CA at 550 is very unusual.

I would suggest you get your ionic imbalance problem fixed first and then try some staghorn.

Can spare you one small frag of green staghorn but I am in the East

You can try some water changes till you lower the Ca levels

Just finish my water changes routine and will continue for the next week or two and see my water readings.

Bro weileong thank you for the frag offer but as all have spoken need to monitor water first and keep you all update.
