SRC Member dradttg Posted July 29, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted July 29, 2005 I used to DIY my PC too. However, I just buy off the shelf today. If you work out the cost, it is about the same. Moreover, you do not have to worry about any of the parts breaking. I have ever travel up and down Sim Lim several time because of RAM problem. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless. Genesis 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. SRC Member Clownfish Posted August 1, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted August 1, 2005 go to sim lim, buy everthing from one shop ( look for the shop that offers generally cheaper prices) then ask them to help assemble... some shop do it for free, some for maybe $20 Quote My Personal Blog My Wedding Website

SRC Member hotlemond Posted August 1, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted August 1, 2005 if you are hunting for a local assembled at Sim Lim, make sure to check if they offer AGP card or slot for future upgrade. I went cheapo some time back and now the Intel Extreme Graphic can't play alot of FPS games get those with at least 2 fans on casing, top and side. also they are already using those exhaust duct with large fan for the cpu. If you intend to overclocked, water-cooled.
