Hi Bro,

I believed your have brought many 2nd hand stuff from other reefer. May I know what do you inspect or view when dealing with 2nd hand chiller?

Any test that you will conduct b4 buying?

Thanks.

actually, i have been told by an experience air-con man that under normal usuage, you should not need to top up gas. if top up is required probably some parts are incorrectly sealed....even my house air con also never top up for 5 years ++ air con still freezing like hell.....

anyway air-con expert can clarify???

the other time when the guy service the chiller, he mentioned that the flank(if i am not wrong) that connects the titannium and copper tubing will leak some gas in times to comes. Plus the fact that there are so many welding joints thru out, bound to have some inperfection.

best test is to run it with a pail of water. basically you will be looking for leaks and faulty temp controller. As for gas media level, that one can be top up at a small fees.

Hi bro hotlemond, if the reeefer is still running the chiller on his tank, if I dun see any leak, does that means okay?

Temp control, I am still lost at it? Is there 2 diff set, 1 for higher inorder to kick in, and the other for lower to kick out?

Lastly, is there a 3/4HP Daeil chiller?

if its running in the owner's tank, then i suppose all general aspects should be okay. I mean logically would you still be running it if there are leaks and you can't maintain temp with a faulty temp controller.

Daeil me not familiar. paiseh....
