question about chiller

hi bro , i have a second chiller handed to me by one of my very good friend but the thing is , it take 3 days to bring my temp to 27 c .I running a 2 ft cube so my question :

1)Every chiller need gas to operate ?or just electricty will do for some mode?

2)Anyone know who can top up the gas or where to do it and the cost to refill the gas?

3)Or because my chiller is not powerful enough?

By the way i running a halae 080 model

From my limited knowledge:

1) Chillers does not needs to top-up gas just like our fridges. However if the cooling coils are leaking due to wear and tear then you will have to top-up gas.

2) Contact Derick, 90255562, he will be able to assist you in trouble shooting and provide honest advice. Should be around $30.

3) I shall leave it to Derick professional advice for fear of digging into a can of worms. Hehehehe
