FuEl
Hey your nitrate looks a little high Hmmm..looks high to me too..but don't think that is the cause of death. Fish are more tolerant of nitrates than you think. Maybe your hermit ambushed it while it was sleeping...or maybe it could have been eating alot..but eating wrong food and slowly starved to death (it does happen).. So many other reasons..I wouls suggest u remove the hermit asap..it sounds big to me...to think it can finish your yellow tang till only skeletons left...scary. SRC Member flubberina13 Posted September 13, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted September 13, 2003 Aiyo...flubberina so cruel...amitabha... Could throw them in the sea wad...why kill them? hehee... Well...they have incurred my wrath!!! Killed my first regal tang and before I can forgive them, attacked my firefish while they were sleeping and also numerous fish that I dun want to be reminded about... Didn't actually want to kill them but absentmindedly mistook fresh water for saltwater when I placed them in a pail, awaiting to release them into the sea, and thus ended their lives. SRC Member DaY Posted September 13, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted September 13, 2003 i last time have one big hairy crab (abt 4cm) hiding inside the LR which murder two of my clowns( about 2cm only) before i finally track where it is hiding and kill it off. But berrykin, maybe u want to check if u LR has those big crabs/mantis hiding inside. It might be responsible for the death of your YT.
