Anyone try keeping a juv Queen Angel in a reef-tank setup ? Any disastrous result ? :evil: Always been tempted to buy whenever I see one but my inner-most being always say 'RELAX...DON'T DO IT !!!' B)

I have one b4, but it up lorry liao due to my ABT keep disturbing it. :cry2:

It will only nib at meaty corals once a while, but it's ok.

It's a French Angel!! B)

French Angel is the one above the Hippo Tang, the circled one is called Ear-spot Angel - Pomacanthus Chrysurus

hi there travvy, as fellow bros mentioned, its the french angel (Pomacanthus paru). its commonly confused with the grey/black or cortez angels because these three all have yellow stripes against black whilst they are in their juvenile markings.

if youre interested, you can get them at Iwarna at pasir ris farmway 2, just ask them when the next shipment including french angels is coming in. each french will cost like $60 though.

Yeah... a big majority of angels have a problems with corals and sponges in the same tank.

Wanted a Queen too but cant bare to let go of my corals... Maybe will go into a strictly fish only tank next time. :lol:

That kind of price for French Angels? Maybe perhaps you are talking about small juvenile.

not really cortez marking and pattern on the body are rather different from the french... Cortez body shape tend to be more roundish and french tend to be more triangular.... ;);)

DA is quite right, the closer resemblance of the French will be the Grey Angel... :P
