how to tell male and female fire goby apart

question as above. is it by the long fin, ie female having shorter fin

on the back?

I had bought 2 fire goby (both with long fin) and they are eating and

seems to get along well. the next day, 1 of them went MIA. i could not

find it anywhere not in overflow, not in sump, not on the floor

hence, want to intro another to keep it company

i only have 6xchromis, 2xfire goby (1 current statues MIA) and a blenny

i see the display tank in OP kept abt 5-8 of them ... its very nice ...

cant trust fish even if they are from the same tank

I got 1, put in tank mia 7 days. 8th day came out from lr (starving). it is stil vr vr shy til now(4 months edi.)
