thanks. my clown mistook it for an anemone and kept trying to sleep in it but the coral reacts by withdrawing it's tentacles.

Yeah clown tend to host on other coral in the absence of anemone... my clown sometime try to host on my tube worm and soe time my zooanthids

It's got a hard skeleton. Feel below it and you can feel a calcareous skeleton.

This one is Heliofungia.sp. Can expand very big. Sting can be rather strong. Try to keep it away from other corals.

yup, it does have a hard base skeleton. a pity that this coral is so dull colured.
