Big Angels

Hi All,

Trying to find out how many people who love angels, especially the big kinds keeps them.

More importantly, any problems exhibited when you keep them together?

Will appreciate very much if you can name the combinations of the angels you are keeping.

I am having the following;

1) Blue face

2) French

3) Blue ring

what about the rest?

Among the angels, the Blue face is the dominant one, the French is laid back by nature and the Blue ring has gone on hiding (wondered if its been eaten by my Hippo blue tang...chomp chomp chomp)...

I have onli 1 King/Passor Angel in my tank, think will not get in any other angelfish and will consider to keep under separate tank if can get big BLUE Caribbean Queen Angel ----- not those Blue-faced Angel .

Definitely, a king/passer angel is one aggresive one and any addition will have problems unless the king is the last addition.

my majestic is the most aggressive among all the angels, like to pick fight with blueface, took them abt a week to settle down. Once awhile c him nt happy also wack.

I like flame angel alot, thinking of getting 4 more, dun know will fight like crazy... anybody tried a school of flame b4?

just added 3 more flame angels, now got 5 flames chasing each other Light off 3 hrs earlier to stop the fights & to put them to bed

In my 6 ft tank, there are :

Regal, Asfur, French, Majestic and Blue Face plus 2 butterfly which is Auriga and Saddle Back. All mostly are 3-4 years old in the tank. The first third one are the biggest in the tank in same size about 12-15 cm, the majestic and blue face are bought when they are small juvenile ( i thought it was about 3 or 4 cm when i bought them), it now about 8-10 cm. Samething happen to auriga and saddleback with majestic and blue face case.

Anyone with a Clarion?

Hi Melv, Clarion is from what i've read have a similar way to keep as with king angel because they live in mexican sea. But, the price are very high due to the restricted capture by the government. But from what i've read this fish are easy to keep if u dare to pay the price .
