bro mayb u can try sellin ur corals n LR 1st then ur fishes n lastly ur tank...i guess tat way u can sell off tings faster than as a package....unless the buyer got a spare tank to fit all those stock cause i tink its impossible to carry to whole tank as it is hehehhee

You will probably clear much faster selling the individual items. I don't think many people will want your exact same set up and livestock.

In addition, you can't just have a "quick & easy" setup unless you are selling the tank and the part of the house it is sitting in so that it does not need to be moved if people buy it, the transport alone will cause MAJOR disruption to your tank so the new buyer will probably have to change most of the water anyway.

the deeper layers of the sand should not be disturbed... once you do all the toxins will be released. so moving the old sand as a whole is out of the question.

So in order not to misunderstand that I'm not repling, can somebody teach me how to reply in my control panel.

Just want to share something with all of you. Acturally, I'm not very willing to give up my hobby. Its because of my wife that nack and nack for the last 8 months and make the whole family unhappy.

Because of this, I decide to sell to somebody who can buy the whole set. If no buyer, that's OK, I can tell my wife that no seller and I tried.

I'm not will to sell my corals, fishes and to see them get lesser and lesser till it becomes a dead tank. I feel so sad to see my hobby breaking into part by part.

I built it remember, all agree?

I feel the best is to make our wife/husband/gf/bf involve in the hobby by bringing them along to lfs,teach them how to scrub algae,feed the fishes etc..

at least it works for me

sorry to hijack the thread..

but i feel that its important to educate your wife to LOVE fish..

she so worried that her moorish idol is not eating thus....asking me to drive her to Henry shop (marine life) to buy some food for the poor fish...

its a blessing for a wife to love fish..but also scary whenever i see her..bombing the fishes with lots of food...... (just to make sure her Morish Idol got a share)

Agreed... my wife initially was concerned with how much I had spent on my setup and running the tank etc...

So after time, we compromised... I cut down on expenses and stop adding LS to the tank, and she took time to understand the hobby. Now she helps feed the fish and clean the glass, and likes to watch the fish as much as I do
