The "how it work" sounds similar to some Chemi-Clean or Pure product I read from RC. Many of those checimal products do apply the positive (product) charged ion to attrach negative (bad) charged ion in the water.

As many of those known and found bad chemical or bacteria are mostly (not all) negative charged.

If I'm not mistaken the thread is buried deep somewhere within Anthony or Randy subforum.

IMO: at best, I guess it probably worked like those chemical products, with the benefit reusable.

UV kill ALL bacteria, this one likely kill most known bad bacteria, maybe some less good one.
