i have tried the red coloured ones..

well..to my experience they are rather lazy..haha

but the black seacukes are really hardworking..24/7 walking ard your sandbeds,rocks and even your glass...

dont worry..they wont really climb over you corals..

think they have like those toy car sensor..once they touch the corals they will steer away from it

jus added a bag of carbon..used half of AQUAZ carbon n tie it in a bag....

any suggestions how long shld i place it in the sump??

2 days??....in almost 1 yr old...my first time using carbon...

hahaha....i have actually consider going BB for a long time...todae did a partial water change....i cannt stand it liaoz....made a swift decision...n mon confirm convert to BB....

ok...below is a lists of wad im going to do on operation BBBB...

pls correct me if im wrong...

1st...take out coral put inside a styrofoam box with water...

2nd...siphon out water into a big pail..

3rd...take out LRs

4th...take out fish n put inside a bubbling box...

5th...take out sand...

6th...rescape LRs...

7th..put back water

8th...place corals..

9th..intro back fishes...

any comments??

i will prepare another xtra pail of water in case of emergency..

due to....when i take out all the tinks....they will be new underflow pipes i going to install and i muz get a new pump...

n oso...waiting to buy a chiller.....one shot do everything....so 2 wks from mon..

cos my pre-filter is veri thick....cannt be..i dun see any dust...

Bro before I remove my bio balls I have 5 layers of poly filters but still can see dirt. So no matter how thick your filter are it still trap dirt. Read the thread below and maybe you know why.

hi everyone...need some suggestions on if i wan to upgrade my return pump..

connecting to the underflow and top flow of the tank...

do u all tink the hailea model 6540 is enough to power it or the model 6550??

either 6540 or 6550 is way too much for ur tank.. ya... both of the pump is a strong one.. so either one of it is good enough.. it is olso sufficient for u to run ur chiller and return..
