You got a very nice scaping. Just want to ask you some questions:

1.) How many fish you have??

2.) What is the feeding amount you are giving them??

Your hammer is very close to your mushroom, is there any problem with stinging??

3.) What are the supplements that you are giving to your coral??

4.) I think some clam added into the tank will make it looks better!!!

5.) Can you share out the equipment you are using in your reef tank??

1)i have overloaded on the fishes...hold on..let me count..

9 in total..

powder blue tang

blue tang

yellow tang

purple tang

clown tang

bristletooth tang

flame angel

sunrise dottyback

six line wrasse

2)for fishes....i feed them wif formula 2 pellets wif vita diet pellets on interval alternate days. for coral..around 4days once..using marine snow n drip into the tank for abt 4hours..

3)im using tropic marin bio magnesium as it realli helps in the growth. for trace elements...tropic marin pro coral mineral...n of cuz.....i do a 15% water change once in every 2 wks using zoomix salt...

4)clam.....sad story..haha....it near swallow up my fishes..n now no space to add already...

5)return pump...hailea 6540

skimmer..weipro 2011(changing soon)

chiller CL 280

4X T5HO retrofits...2 blue n 2 20,000k

my tangs are all small size....i know is a overloaded....i perform a water change once in 2 wks...

yes.....i jus hope they dun grow very big... ....but such a small tank..dun tink they will grow tt fast too...

thx bro....jus added a red acan and a small blasto...

will be performing a 10% water change this sunday..time to do some serious cleaning on the base...

jus test my water parameters...here are the readings base on tropic marin testkits..

Calcium - 480ppm

(same as before,didnt dose any calcium..could be the salt tt is replenishing it)

Magnesium - 1280ppm

Nitrate - 1mg

Phosphate - 0.3mg

KH - 6...(got to drip in reef builder soon)

Salinity - 1.022(using seatest hydrometer)

will concentrate on bringing up the carbonate hardness this week..

jus brought my kH level to 9 jus now.....wonder will it drop again...

hi all, I am a newbie, just started a 2ft tank, initialiy only want a fish only tank, but now after looking all your wonderful tanks with mushrooms and yumi and pratas, I also want to try, question is my tank is very basic, just live rock, live sand, skimmer and a pump. (bought this all 2nd hand). Question, does mushrooms, yumi and pratas need chiller? what is SPS? what requirements does hard corals, anemoes or soft corals needs? example leather coral is hard or soft? Please advise.

SPS stands for Small Polyps Storny Corals. Hope this wud be of help to u bro. its always good to learn a new thing every day.

to suspect that the flame angel is starting to nip on my corals....

will try to get it out asap...
